All games from sheet 3 and sheet 4 will be streamed, and semifinals, bronze and final.
Rules of competition
The tournament is played according to the World Curling Federation rules with exceptions as described below.
Team line-up
Each on-ice team must have at least three players delivering stones. There is no requirement to have both genders in the lineup.
Pre-competition practice
Friday 09:30-11:00
Pre-game practice, LSD and stone color
Round robin
The first team in the game schedule plays with blue stones and have first practice*. Second team plays with yellow stones and have second practice. The first practice starts 30 min before scheduled starting time.
Pre-game practice and LSD: 9 min practice and then LSD with two different players - one clockwise and one counter-clockwise.
Practice and LSD will be announced.
* Group A: Coin toss to decide first practice in the last round robin game.
Playoff
The highest ranked team has hammer in the first end and choice of stone color.
Pre-game practice: 5 min practice per team. Team with hammer has the first practice and starts 15 minutes before scheduled starting time.
Practice will be announced.
Ends
All games are played over 8 ends with extra end(s) if necessary.
Ranking
Ranking procedure round robin:
- Win/loss record
- Win/loss record between tied teams if possible
- DSC (excluding the least favourable result)
Ranking procedure in the playoff (for hammer and choice of stone color):
- Group ranking (regardless of number of games won in the group)
- DSC (from the first three games, excluding the least favourable result)
Playoff
Top four from each group go to quarterfinals. 1A-4B, 1B-4A, 2A-3B, 2B-3A.
