About the event
The tournament is played according to the World Curling Federation rules and applying the five-rock rule as well as the no tick rule.
The event starts Thursday afternoon and finishes with final games Sunday early afternoon. Practice before the tournament will take place at Thursday, more info about this will come.

Group Stage
Games are played in 8 ends. If the game is tied after 8 ends, both teams play a 2-stone “Shootout” (1 clockwise/1counterclockwise). Team with hammer in last end will decide which team draws first. Teams are free to choose 2 players of their own who makes the draws.
4 minute training before each game then a 2-stone LSD to determine the hammer and also DSC-average for the ranking (excluding the least favorable result). Teams are free to choose 2 players of their own who makes the draws.
The first named team will practice first, 10 minutes before the start of the game.
3 points for a win within 8 ends, 2 points for a shootout win, 1 point for a shootout loss, 0 points for a loss.
1 minute coach interaction per game during regulation 8 ends is allowed. A 3 minute coach interaction between the 4th and 5th ends is allowed if the game is on-pace (based on 15 minutes per end – check with the umpire prior to the break).
At the completion of the group stage, all teams will be ranked in a joint table.
Ranking based on 1) points 2) DSC average.
The two highest ranked teams proceed direct to the semifinal. Quarterfinals: 3rd-6th, 4th-5th.
Playoffs
8 ends with 1 extra-end if needed. If there is no score in the extra-end, a 2-stone shootout will be played to decide the winner. Teams are free to choose 2 players of their own who makes the draws.
The higher ranked team in each of the playoff games will have choice of hammer or stone color.
5 minute training before playoff games. The team with the hammer will train first, 10 minutes before the start of the game.
1 minute coach interaction per game during regulation 8 ends is allowed. A 3 minute coach interaction between the 4th and 5th ends is allowed.
